North East London Virtual Ward Fund 2022/23

Acceptance of Virtual Ward funding , total value £1,035,000.

 

As per section 256 agreement, the Virtual Ward non-recurrent funds are being

passed to the local authorities at the Barking & Dagenham place based partnership, Havering place based partnership and the Redbridge place based partnership, and it is expected that the three place based partnership will adopt a reasonably similar model for services and will work with North East London NHSFoundation Trust (NELFT) and Barking, Havering and Redbridge Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) on all three places.

This decision will be taken under General Exception Provsions in order to ensure that funding is in place for the beginning of the next financial year. With the agreement of the Chairman of Overview & Scrutiny Board, Call-in has been waived as any delay likely to be caused by the process would seriously prejudice the Council’s or the public interests.
