Consultation process

In addition to all relevant Business Partners in oneSource, the Council will use the following means of consulting with persons likely to be affected by the proposed designation:

• Havering Council website, including an online landlord

questionnaire;

• Havering Council Facebook page;

• Havering Council’s Twitter feed;

• Notice given to London Property Licensing for publication on its

website.

• Direct mail-out to landlords and managing/letting agents in the

borough and surrounding areas;

• Mail drop to residents and businesses or services in the borough

and surrounding areas, who are likely to be affected by the

designation;

• Direct mail and email to local community groups and landlord

organisations;

• Press releases to local media/press, including the local

newspapers of neighbouring local authorities;

• Public Notice placed in national newspaper;

• Posters in streets, libraries, businesses and other public areas,

both in the borough and in neighbouring boroughs;

• Article in Living Magazine, the Council’s free magazine delivered

to every home in the borough;

• Landlord forum via zoom
