Development of Community Hubs

A decision is required to agree an investment of £334,760 to establish the Community Hubs to transition to Business as Usual in 2023. This will ensure the continuation of the Community Hubs in Harold Hill and Rainham supporting residents suffering from the impacts of the pandemic, developing an additional Hub in Romford and potentially collaborating with the NHS to establish a Health and Wellbeing Hub in Hornchurch.

Consultation process

All relevant Business Partners in oneSource will be consulted. In addition, meeting will be held with Stakeholders, Voluntary Community Sector partners, the Community Development & Resilience Team, Havering Compact and

Library Managers.

 

Further consultation with local stakeholder partners and SLT  will take place through the Hub Leadership, Team and Community Hub Governance Board

Local residents and focus groups will be invited to take part in online consultation.
