The Director of Neighbourhoods will be asked to approve existing contracts for a period of 11 months.
The cost of the 11 month extension is £687,500 there is no impact on the existing budget, the extension is required as soon as possible due to a delay in the procurement of the new contracts.

This matter has been added to the Forward Plan under the general exception provisions. It was not possible to give the full 28 days notice on this matter as the contract extension is needed urgently to ensure the staus quo is maintained as a result of delays in the procurement process regarding the new contracts.
