The Leader of the Council will be asked to delegate to the Assistant Director of Planning to take all necessary action to settle the final form and content of the Council’s case, including settling the form and content of all formal Council responses during the course of the Lower Thames Crossing, M25/J28 improvement scheme and Cory Riverside Energy Park throughout the consultation and Development Consent Order process.

Councillor Sally Miller ELECTED as Chairman of Crime and Disorder Sub-Committee by 28 votes to 17 for Councillor John Tyler and 5 for Councillor Tele Lawal.

Councillor Sally Miller ELECTED as Vice-Chairman of the Licensing Committee by 28 votes to 15 for Councillor Paul Middleton and 7 for Councillor Linda Van den Hende.

All Members present disclosed a pecuniary interest in agenda item 7 – Members’ Allowances Scheme 2020/21 as they were in receipt of a Member’s Allowance and a pecuniary interest in agenda item 8 – the Council’s Budget 2020/21 as they were occupiers of land with a liability for Council Tax.

Legal dispensation to allow all Members to take part in the meeting and vote in such instances – agreed without division.

Minutes of meeting held on 22 January 2020 approved subject to clarification that motion at minute 51 (firework displays) was submitted by North Havering Residents’ Group.
