1. To consult tenants and leaseholders about the future of the housing management service, and establish a budget of £50,000 to carry out this work.
2. That the Council’s preferred option is to bring management of the Council’s housing stock back in-house, although a final decision will not be taken until Cabinet receives the results of consultation with tenants and leaseholders.
3. To receive a report on the results of the Consultation in March 2012 in order to agree the future management arrangements.
4. To develop detailed proposals and consultation materials to put to tenants and leaseholders in order to seek their views on the future of the housing management service be delegated to the Lead Member for Housing and Public Protection.
