Council Tax Direct Debit error

If you pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit, some of you may have it taken from your bank account a day early on 31 March 2025 instead of 1 April 2025.

We have tried our best to stop this from happening, but unfortunately we were unable to do so and we can only apologise for this.

If this causes you any financial problems, please use our Council Tax enquiry form or you can call us on 01708 433997 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). Our lines will be busy and we may take some time getting back to you.
