The report before the Committee sought planning permission for the erection of a part five storey and part six-storey mixed-use development to include 8 x 1-bed, 22 x 2-bed, 7 x 3-bed self-contained residential units, ground floor commercial units, associated car parking, cycle stores, landscaping and refuse facilities that would involve the demolition of existing buildings on site.

In accordance with the public speaking arrangements the Committee was addressed by an objector with a response by the applicant and its agents.

 

A Councillor call-in has been received which accords with the Committee consideration criteria.

 

The application had been called–in by a Ward Councillor. With its agreement Councillor Judith Holt addressed the Committee.

 

The Committee considered the report and RESOLVED to GRANT PLANNING PERMISSION subject to the conditions as set out in the report.
